Iphone failures - Uploading Photos

  • AirMe works a lot better with the iPhone and Flickr. It does the geocoding properly and can upload the full resolution. The application is a bit clunky yet though. I've emailed with one of the guys with AirMe about it and they're planning a pretty aggressive rollout timeline with bugfixes and features.

    I wonder if Flickr will develop an Uploadr for iPhone.
  • Thanks for the tip on AirMe. It's definitely better, although it still appears to be limited to 1024x768? What's up with that?

  • Hey, I found your blog looking for stuff like this and thought I'd comment.

    It's problematic that there's no easy way to get full-resolution pics from the iPhone to your computer.

    I use Klick - http://klickmap.com/ it uploads 1600 x 1200 pictures to Flickr, the Geotagging seems to work well and it's free! There are other nice features also.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give Klick a try. AirMe has been choking now that I've gotten over 115 photos taken in it.
